Hi! My name is Crystal Calli. I am the mother of seven beautiful children and an Occupational Therapist. I received both my Bachelors and Masters degrees in the area of Occupational Therapy from D'Youville College. I  have specialized in the area of pediatrics, primarily working with children birth through age 5. As an Occupational therapist, I help prepare children by teaching them the foundations needed for a successful transition into Kindergarten through purposeful and meaningful activities.

My family and I live on Grand Island and I have been working with children and their families in the area for the past 12  years.

Miss Judy
Director

Hi!  My name is Judith Sharkey.  Children have always been one of the main interests in my life. I was part of the first graduating class at SUNY Fredonia for a specially developed program for Early Childhood Education focusing on the preschool years.

After working in a center following graduation I was able to open my own center, Sheridan Day Care Center and Nursery School. This became a very successful program, as well as a rewarding and fulfilling experience nuturing children from infants to 13 years old for over 30 years. During those years many lasting relationships with students and families have been a mainstay for me.

4 Year Old & UPK
Teacher's Assistant

Hi! My name is Ed Manz.  Growing up in a small rural town I came to Buffalo in 2005 to pursue my degree in Education. I received my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education Birth through Second Grade from Buffalo Sate College. I then went on to complete my Masters in Early Childhood Special Education Birth through Second Grade. While attending Buffalo State, I volunteered and substituted at their childcare center in the two and three year old classrooms.  My experiences during student teaching varied between Buffalo Public Schools and the Universal Pre-School in Barker NY.  With the completion of my degrees I received a position as a 1:1 aide at a school specializing in working with children who have emotional and behavioral difficulties.  I have worked with students at this location in pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, first and third grades. I also have gained experience as a teacher assistant and lead classroom teacher.

My experiences have taught me that constancy and follow through are key components in a child's success in the areas of academics and social emotional growth.  I believe that children learn best through doing and exploring.

This is my seventh year working at Kiddo's Korner Preschool!

Hi! My name is Macie Attea. For the last three years I have been working in childcare with children ranging between the ages of 12 weeks old to 12 years old. Following the pandemic, I decided to complete my college courses virtually so that I could continue my work in childcare while completing my senior year of college.  I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a double-minor in Spanish and Pre-Medical and Health Professions from Duquesne University in May of 2021.  I plan to further my education and attend medical school to become a pediatrician. I knew that I wanted to work with children at a very young age and it has become one of my greatest passions over the years. I am very excited to be a member of the Kiddo’s Korner Preschool team for the 2021-2022 school year, and I cannot wait to help your children learn and watch them grow!

Miss Karolyn
3 Year Old Teacher

Hi!  My name is Karolyn Massaro.  In 2004, I received an Associate’s Degree in Music.  Following this, I moved on to Buffalo State College where I obtained Bachelor of Science Degrees in both Early Childhood and Childhood Education.  To culminate my college career, I received a Masters Degree in Literacy for children from birth through grade 6. Upon graduating from college, I immediately began substitute teaching in the Lewiston-Porter School District.  After one year of doing this, I was hired as a long term maternity substitute in this district, where I would spend the next three years.  During the course of these three years I alternated between both kindergarten and first grade. Most recently, I have been teaching reading intervention part time in the Niagara Falls School District. In addition to my school career and teaching jobs, I am the mother of four small children.  Sienna is 13 years old and in eight grade, Greysie is 9 and is in fourth grade, James is 5 and in kindergarten, and Julianna is 1 1/2!

I am very passionate about teaching and believe that all children, when given the opportunity, can have a chance at success.  I will do my best at giving them this opportunity each and every day.  Each child is special and has something wonderful to offer to our world.  I am excited to begin this journey with all of the children that enter my room!

Hello!  My name is Tiffany Morgan.  I have been working with children for the past 13 years.  My experience includes working with kindergarten and first graders in the Grand Island Central School District.  I love working with children in the primary ages.  They are so much fun and bring laughter to every day!

I am originally from Grand Island, however, I moved with my husband, Kasey, to Maryland for his job.  We moved back to the Island in 2015, where we are currently raising our two sons, Colin (13 years old) and Brennan (9 years old).  Brennan attends Huth Road and is in fifth grade and Colin is in eight grade.

I am really looking forward to helping your children learn and grow this year.  I am so excited to be a part of the Kiddo's Korner team!

Hi!

Hi! My name is Tracy Caughill. Throughout my life I have dedicated a lot of my time to taking care of children and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I have over 20 years of experience in early childhood education. I have previously been a nanny where I was fortunate enough to take care of several children. Nurturing them and watching them grow was a wonderful experience. This led me to become interested in working at the preschool. Teaching children the fundamentals at such a young age is so important. They retain so much and are so willing to learn. I am dedicated to the social and emotional development of each child and make it my goal to make sure each child receives the best in education, care, and love from me so that they may reach their fullest potentials.

I currently live on Grand Island and am the mother of two children. We love living in this small community where everyone is so friendly.

This is my fifth  year working at Kiddo's Korner Preschool!

Miss Jennie

2 Year Old Teacher's Assistant

Hi!  My name is Jennie Randle.  I have been caring for young children for almost 30 years, and it has always been a lifelong passion of mine.  I started my career working with kids at the age of 13, when I got my first job at a local daycare center.  After eight years working with youngsters at daycare centers in Niagara County, I transitioned to working for one of the first childcare centers established by the Buffalo Public Schools providing in-school care for the children of teen mothers.  I had experience  working with Kindergarten and 1st graders in the Grand Island Central Schools before coming over to Kiddo's Korner Preschool.

I live on Grand Island, and my life's greatest joy has been being a mother and raising four incredible children, with my husband.  I absolutely love working with young children, and I look forward to caring for your child as if they were my own.
